ADmissions Policy
Lake Arrowhead Christian School is on the lookout for motivated young individuals eager for a college preparatory, liberal arts education. Our ideal candidates are passionate learners, respectful and enthusiastic about joining a community where knowledgeable, compassionate teachers guide them in both academic excellence and Christian faith. Admission is based on academic and discipline records, placement tests, and a personal interview assessing alignment with our school’s vision and faith principles. All students must be committed to studying God’s Word and uphold respect for peers, staff, and faculty. We prioritize students who align with our worldview, academic standards, and are ready to embrace our school policies and values wholeheartedly.
Step 1: Complete the new student application
The application can be easily completed online at www.losaltoschristianschool.org. There is a $40 application fee for the first child; each additional application is $25. Our admissions team strives to respond to all applications within 48 hours. If you have any questions during the application process, please contact our admissions coordinator Joelle Bare at (909) 337-3739.
Step 2: Visit LACS for a day
We highly recommend prospective students in all grade levels spend a day attending classes at LACS prior to or during the application process. This is an invaluable opportunity to experience our nurturing environment and rigorous academics firsthand. Please contact our admissions team to schedule a student visitor day.
Step 3: Interview (for grades 6-8)
Students applying for 6th-8th grade are required to meet with a school administrator during the admissions process. This is an opportunity for us to get to know your child and assess if our school is a good fit. Parents are welcome to attend the interview as well.
Age Requirements: Students entering kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before September 1st of the year they begin attending.

TUTION & FEES
There is an enrollment fee of $575 per student for all grade levels.

LACS utilizes a needs-based tuition model that allows the school to offer the blessing of Christian education to a broader spectrum of students. A family's tuition costs may be scaled, depending on that family's financial situation. During the enrollment process, you may apply for a tuition grant if you believe that you qualify.
