SCHOOL SUPPLIES LIST (Grades K - 6)
Parents, please put your child's initials on all school supplies, including each pencil and crayon. Placing initials somewhere on lunch boxes and outerwear is also recommended.
Kindergarten: All supplies are provided by the school.
First grade:
- 12 inch ruler with inches and centimeters
- 2 large glue sticks * (.77oz or larger, small ones do not last)
- 1 bottle of Elmer’s wet glue
- 2 Pentel white erasers
- 1 pack of Ticonderoga pencils (yellow). Please stay away from pencils with decorative or plastic coating.
- 2 packs of 24 crayons
- 2 Expo dry erase marker
- Scissors
- 1 plastic pencil box
- 1 plastic 2 pocket folder (no 3 ring binders)
- 1 spiral notebook (The one subject 25 cent ones are perfect.)
- 1 composition notebook (A primary composition book is better but not necessary.)
- 2 containers of Play-Doh
- Bring in 1 Ziploc bag with 10 pennies, 10 dimes, 10 nickels, and 1 quarter* (Please make sure name is on the Ziploc bag.
Second grade:
- 12 inch ruler with inches and centimeters
- 2 large glue sticks (.77 oz or larger, the small ones don’t last. No liquid glue, please)
- 2 Pentel white erasers (The white erases a lot better than pink.)
- 24 pencils (No plastic coated pencil, please; they gum up the sharpener)
- Pencil sharpener with a case to collect the shavings
- 24 crayons (No more than 24, please)
- 2 fine tip, white-board markers
- Markers
- Scissors
- Small container to hold stationery items
- 1 thin folder (with envelopes inside to hold papers, no 3 ring binders)
- 2 composition books
- 5 "fun" writing utensils (colored gel pens, felt tip, roller ball, etc.)
Third grade:
- Bible (International Children’s Version)
- 1 package of 10 or more yellow #2 pencils
- Scissors
- 1 package of 24 colored pencils
- 1 two-pocket folder (no binders!)
- 5 different colored composition books (NOT wire-bound notebooks)
- 2 bottles of white Elmer’s Glue
- 3 different colored dry erase markers
- 3 different colored "fun" writing utensils (e.g. gel pens, roller ball pens, felt tip pens)
- 2 different colored highlighter markers
- 1 zipper pouch or small pencil box
Fourth grade:
- Bible (International Children’s Version)
- Pencils (no click type)
- Glue (Elmer’s white glue)
- 2 Folders (no binders please)
- 1 box colored pencils
- 1 ruler (inches and centimeters)
- 1 zipper pouch to hold pencils and erasers
- 2 Pentel white erasers
- 1 Sharpener (With container to catch shavings, otherwise they will be sent home.)
- Crayons (16-24) More is NOT better.
- Scissors
- 2 dry erase markers
- 2 binder paper packages (white, wide-ruled, 3 hole punched)
- 1 packs of index cards (lined on one side, blank on the other side)
- 2 packs of yellow #2 pencils (Please, no plastic coated pencils.)
- Composition notebook
Fifth grade:
- 3 composition books (please, no spiral bound notebooks)
- Pencil case or pouch for holding supplies
- Scissors
- A set of good colored pencils (we use these often!)
- A set of markers (thin is required, additional thick markers are optional)
- One yellow highlighter
- 2 or more different colored pens
- Package of glue sticks (2 the round ones, .77 oz or larger)
- 2 packages of college ruled, 3-hole punched lined paper
- 3 packages of yellow #2 Toconderoga brand pencils (please no plastic coated pencils)
- One black fine tip sharpie
- One black ultra fine tip sharpie
Sixth grade:
- Lined notebook paper
- Binder with dividers or folders for 6 subjects
- Pencils
- Pens
