What is an ESC?
An Educational Success Consultation (ESC) is an opportunity for interested parents and students to meet with our Principal to:
- Learn more about our school
- Tour our campus
- Answer any questions you may have
- Discuss your hopes for your child's future
- Explore research-proven academic success models for your child(ren)
Whom will I be meeting with?
At your ESC, you will be meeting one-on-one with our highly qualified Principal, Linda Huffman. Mrs. Huffman has devoted her life to the education of numerous students across many different facets of education, from preschool to high school. Linda also strongly believes in regular staff training and development to ensure that students receive the best education possible. Accordingly, Mrs. Huffman continues to make a Christ-centered, top quality education her number one priority for students at LACS. Linda completed an Associates degree in Early Childhood Development, obtained her BA at Long Beach State University, and received her teaching credentials and a Master’s degree from Hope International University. Linda has worked at the Los Angeles Unified School District in their Children’s Centers Program. She has been a Mentor Teacher for the Orange County Department of Education and Concordia University, and before coming to LACS Linda worked for 22 years at Calvary Chapel Schools in Costa Mesa teaching a wide range of students in both elementary school and high school English. Linda also served Calvary Chapel Schools as Staff Developer, Mentor Teacher, and Assistant Principal. She helped develop their Student Success Program as well. Linda is an enthusiastic life learner and a leader among leaders!
